Custom VINYL and Embroidery LOGO Options

We offer both embroidery and vinyl printing at Boyd Safety Supplies allowing you to personalise and brand your items with your company logo and/or slogan. Design proofs and mock-ups can be provided to ensure that you are happy with both the quality and finish of your design before printing commences.

Vinyl Printing

Our vinyl garment printing methods include single and full colour vinyl printing options which involves cutting and printing a vinyl graphic onto a garment via heat press. Vinyl printing can be suitable for both simple block designs and for the more intricate, detailed designs making it a popular choice for garment printing.

Embroidery

The embroidery method involves the use of stitching to create a logo onto a garment. Embroidering provides a different result and finish to that of a vinyl printed logo due to the threading being slightly raised on the garment. This method provides both a textural and long-lasting professional finish that is guaranteed to last the lifetime of the garment.

Printing Areas

Custom logos can be printed on the following garment areas:

  • Left Breast
  • Right Breast
  • Back
  • Chest
  • Right Arm
  • Left Arm

Please see images below for printing area options.

Guidelines for Logos

In order to get the best logo results, multiple image formats may be requested and in some cases, it might be suggested that alterations be made to a logo design in order to ensure the best printing quality and design.

It is also important that we are provided with a high-quality image of your logo to allow for the best design finish. Any recommendations and/or changes made will be discussed and confirmed with you until both parties are happy to proceed with the final design.

Changes We May Need to Make

Font Size:

We may need to alter the size of text to ensure that it is of suitable printing quality. In some instances, it may be recommended that small text or tag lines be removed from a logo to ensure that the finish is of a better quality.

Colours:

We stock a large amount of coloured vinyl and thread, however, we cannot always guarantee that there will be an identical colour match to your logo. We will try our best to find the best possible colour match and if needed, small colour samples can be sent to you in order to ensure that you are satisfied with the colours before production begins.

At times we may also recommend that alterations be made to your logo colours to ensure that they stand out and are of high quality against your chosen colour of garments. For example, if you have chosen black garments to print and part of your logo is black, we would suggest an appropriate colour change.

Outlines and Drop Shadows:

We may recommend that any outlines or drop shadows on your images are removed to improve printing quality.
